RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At HRF Welding & Fabrication, we take pride in producing high-quality metal signs and fabricated products. Due to the nature of our work, many items are made to order or customised, and our returns policy reflects this.
This policy applies to all purchases made via hrfweldingfabrication.com and to in-person sales.
1. Custom & Made-to-Order Items
Custom or made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.
A custom item includes (but is not limited to):
Signs made to specific dimensions
Custom text, names, logos, or artwork
Bespoke designs or finishes
Any item manufactured specifically to a customer’s request
By placing an order for a custom item, you acknowledge and accept that the item is made specifically for you and cannot be resold.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty or not as described.
2. Standard (Non-Custom) Items – Online Orders
For non-custom, standard stock items purchased online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the item, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To be eligible for a return:
You must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery
The item must be unused and in its original condition
The item must be returned within 14 days of cancellation
Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected.
3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives:
Faulty
Damaged
Incorrect
Or not as described
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing clear photographs where possible.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer one of the following:
A repair
A replacement
Or a full refund
Refunds for faulty items will include the original standard delivery cost.
This applies to both custom and non-custom items.
4. Damage During Transit
Any damage caused during transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect our ability to make a claim with the courier and could result in the claim being refused.
5. Return Postage
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return postage costs
For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, we will cover reasonable return postage costs
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item or confirming a fault.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at checkout.
7. In-Person Sales
For purchases made in person:
Custom or made-to-order items are non-refundable once production has begun
Non-custom items may be returned at our discretion
Your statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected.
